To provide quality care and education while sharing the love of Jesus
Our mission is to provide high quality childcare and early education in a non-denominational Christian atmosphere. With the help of our staff and community, we maintain superior standards of care. A child at Peaceful Beginnings will receive the care necessary for physical health and growth, emotional security and well-being, educational enrichment and spiritual reassurance
In September of 1976, Peace Lutheran Church opened a nursery school for the children of the church and the community. Mothers of preschool children were determined to help their children prepare for their upcoming years of school. They also wanted more opportunity for children to know about the love of God we know through Jesus.
The graduates of the preschool program were recognized by Kindergarten teachers as extremely well prepared for their introduction into public education. The classes were always full.
Peace Lutheran Church received many phone calls about nursery school, but was receiving even more calls about daycare. There was no doubt that there was a great need for quality care in the area. When the church built a new education unit in 1994, the building was designed to meet State standards for a daycare facility. When the center opened, it was quickly filled with infants to school age children.
The school and daycare supported by Peace Lutheran Church has always recognized the importance of quality care and good educational opportunities. In the hearts and minds of church members, sharing the knowledge and experience of the loving care of God was, and continues to be, just as important in the program goals of what is now Peaceful Beginnings Christian Childcare. We want children to meet Jesus daily in their days at Peaceful Beginnings. So many things can change in the lives of children. The love of God we know through Jesus never will end, no matter how old they become.
